Comstech 2020

Amal shortlisted amongst the 25 most innovative & promising AI & IoT companies across Pakistan. During the prestigious AI & IoT conference (organized by Comstech representing 57 countries), the head of AI in Pakistan (Dr. Alvi) was accompanied by the current & former Federal Ministers of Science & Technology, Mr. Fawad Chaudhry and Mr. Azam Sawati respectively, in addition to numerous dignitaries from public and private sector

Meeting with Minister of Science & Technology

Based on the introductory conversation at our booth in the conference, we were honoured to be invited by the Ministry of Science & Technology for further opportunities to bring Amal to the adult women of Pakistan. Further scientific evaluations of our novel AI solution are in progress both internationally and locally by world-renowned and reputed institutions in medical science including the Computerized Medical Imaging and Graphics (Impact Factor: 3.75) Journal

Student Scholarships

Several students worked on the different phases of ‘AMAL’, most of these students secured admissions in the MS/PhD programs of leading universities in the world based on this work. Particular, one student was admitted to the MS Research program at the Department of Computer Science, University of Warwick which is ranked 2nd in the UK.

Tensor Flow

TensorFlow Research Cloud Grant: We are very humbled & honored that Google selected Amal as the first eligible AI Initiative in Pakistan to secure TPU computing power. TPU is a special hardware that is not yet available commercially and can be accessed through acquiring grants from big technical giants like Google

COMSTECH Best Research Paper Award

COMSTECH Best Research Paper in Biology Award: Dr. Hammad Naveed was awarded the Best Research Paper in Biology Award for 2019. COMSTECH, is the Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation). This award recognizes outstanding research paper published in an international journal in the last two years. The award is given in each of the four basic sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics). This biennial award carries a certificate, a shield of honor and a cash prize
